Starcraft 2 Strategy Guide | Do You Really Need One For The Game?

There has been a huge amount of talk about Starcraft 2 since it has been launched and this is not surprising as it has been in the pipeline for so long! In fact since the first Starcraft this has been 10 years in the making and the result is a very polished game experience that is making a lot of people very happy.

However there has also been a lot of buzz around Starcraft 2 cheat codes and strategy guides and it seems that Blizzard’s latest offering is too much to handle for some!

Well the first thing that you should know before you start looking up cheat codes to try and beat the game is simply that you will not be able to beat the game like this.

Blizzard have put some code into the game that can detect when you are using cheats and that means that you will not be able unlock any of the achievements like this or beat the game!

Well it seems in the midst of this there is a gamer that has gotten around this issue, not so much with cheat codes but by releasing a Starcraft 2 Strategy guide.

Now looking at the website you can see that this is obviously a player that has been through the beta and if the picture on his profile is anything to go by he has done very well!

Of course there are 3 factions that you can play as in Starcraft 2 and that is Terran, Protoss or Zerg and it seems that the guide covers each of these, giving you a handy get started guide and also has a few handy things that you can do with the macro commands of the game.

The thing that most interested us was the fact that the guy claims to show you how to get to rank 1 Diamond which is the highest rank!

Well this is quite a bold claim but the good thing is that the guide has videos fo him actually playing the game so you know that this is not some guide that has just been researched and put together by a non-player.

At least he does actually play the game!

So that leaves us with the question?

So do you need a Starcraft 2 Strategy guide?

Well, no you don’t but if you want to get as high up in the rankings and go for that diamond rank it sure might help.
